Parks and Recreation
Toppenish is proud of the 26 public parks and beautification areas sprinkled throughout the city, with a total of 23 acres of lush recreation area. The Parks and Recreation Director plans, supervises, and evaluates operations of the entire Parks and Recreation Department. The Director coordinates services for all recreation programs and activities for the City. The goals of the department are to provide quality, affordable, safe, and fun activities and programs, to maintain and improve our existing parks, and to enhance the quality of life for all the community.
Active Parks and Recreation Program
The Parks and Recreation Department is also responsible for the swimming pool and all related activities. The Aquatics Services program reflects the operation of one outdoor 50 meter pool during summer months for public swimming, lessons, private pool rentals, swim team and swim meets.
