The City of Toppenish has joined 112 other Washington cities and organizations in working toward wellness and a healthier workplace in 2023. The dedication and work put in by City employees to achieve a healthier lifestyle means the City of Toppenish earns the 2023 WellCity designation and will receive a 2% premium discount on all medical premiums.
The AWC Employee Benefit Trust’s WellCity program recognizes members that achieve quality standards in employee health promotion. When asked about the award, City Manager Debbie Zabell said “The City of Toppenish is honored to be recognized as a Washington WellCity again in 2023. This shows how much our organization values the importance of a healthy workforce. I am so proud of our employees for their efforts.”
