The Toppenish City Council recognized the Top-Hi Wildcats Boys and Girls Wrestling teams and coaches for winning the 2024 State Championship Titles in their divisions. The council honored both teams by proclaiming March 11, 2024, through March 15, 2024, as TOP-HI Boys and Girls Wrestling Week.
The teams and coaches were introduced and honored by the City Council during the regular business meeting held on Monday, March 11, 2024. Mayor Elpidia Saavedra proudly read the proclamation to a full room of the team’s supporters.

Following the reading of the proclamation, the teams and coaches were each presented with a copy of the proclamation and a City of Toppenish lapel pin by members of the City Council.
